| THE LAST RESORT: A
Wanderlust Mystery coming June 2009!!
***
Dear Readers, For
all writers the most important people are their readers. And this is my message
to all of you:
My desire to be a writer began at the age of
six when I saw the excitement and awe on the faces of my friends as I told ghost
and scary stories. I loved how I could affect them and others, how I could thrill
them, excite them, and get them involved with the characters I conjured up. I
especially loved hearing them scream because that meant I was evoking emotion
(of course at the time I just viewed my audience as a bunch of sissy's)!
If
it weren't for you, my dear readers, all my stories would remain in my head. To
all of you who have read and given your reviews and comments of TROPICAL WARNINGS,
I send my heartfelt thanks. To those of you yet to read my novel, I thank you
in advance and look forward to hearing from you and responding to you. I
thought there was no greater feeling than that of completing a novel. Then came
the acceptance of that novel with my publisher, Five Star. But neither were as
great and as heart and soul felt as when I received my first letter from a reader.
"Reading Tropical Warnings was like taking a much needed and exciting vacation.
I really feel your main characters, David and Laura, have become close and intimate
friends with me. The only problem I saw with your book is that it came to an end.
I can't wait to read the next in your series." --Barbara from Utah Well,
Barbara, I apologize that you may have to wait a bit longer. THE LAST RESORT is
getting its last polishing and revisions and will be sent to my publisher NO LATER
than November 1, 2007. As soon as I get a tentative release date it will be posted
here. In the mean time, you can get some clues and news about The Last Resort
as well as preceding titles in my blog: Sentenced To Death: The writing, planning,
and creation process of mystery series. All
of you complete the purpose and meaning of my writing—you complete the communication
between author and reader. Thank you.
